Metamorphosis

Starting from a graphic score, the performer is free to interpret the images according to the written indications, shaping the musical material through their own choices and sensitivity.

In this case, the focus is on analog electronics, with the main sound source generated by the Strega synthesizer. The transitions between the different sections were later refined using the DAW Reaper, which played a key role in defining the spatiality, directionality, and overall movement of the sound.

The piece begins with a simple sonic line that gradually develops, generating increasing movement and timbral complexity until it reaches a first climax. This process is then repeated, each time through different timbres, dynamics, and transformations, culminating in a final climax that brings the piece to a close.
