A long time ago, I started playing the piano, and now music and composition are my entire life.

I compose and teach piano because I believe that music is something extraordinarily powerful: it can create connections, become a form of representation and move both the mind and the soul.

I mainly write contemporary music, where I see the composer as a kind of architect whose role is to create the supporting structure, while the performers give it color, shape, and life. For me, this means moving beyond the traditional hierarchy of composer-score-musician and understanding music as a shared creative process.

I also improvise with electronics and field recordings, creating ambient music as a way of narrating the environment around me.

I play the piano and perform from time to time.
