Arianna Pittino (b. 1996) is a composer and pianist currently based in Italy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Piano (2021) and Composition (2023) with top honors, having studied at the Conservatorio di Musica J. Tomadini in Udine, the Conservatorio di Musica B. Marcello in Venice, and the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg under professors such as Luca Rasca, Renato Miani, and Peter Gahn. Arianna completed in 2025 a Master's degree in Composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich under Professor Isabel Mundry.
She has participated in international workshops and festivals with leading composers including Simone Movio, Clara Iannotta, Elena Mendoza, Carola Bauckholt and Matthew Shlomowitz.
Arianna's music has been performed in Germany, Spain, Austria, and Italy at festivals and venues such as the Vibrafonissimo festival, Encontres de Compositors Festival in Mallorca, IMPULS Festival in Graz, and the Transart Festival in Bolzano. She remains active as a composer, participating in workshops and receiving commissions across Europe.
Currently, Arianna's artistic focus is on exploring the world of emotions through instrumental, theatrical, and electronic music. She delves into her own emotions and feelings, translating them into deeply personal compositions that combine improvisation, theatricality, and instrumental performance. Her music aims to evoke emotional and sensory experiences, often using improvisation and theatrical elements as central components. Recently, Arianna has expanded her creative practice to include electronic composition, with a particular interest in modular synthesis and analog electronic instruments.
Arianna says: "I haven't won any prestigious awards, but over the years, I've gained a wealth of experience while remaining deeply curious and eager to learn new things. My biography may not seem particularly remarkable, but my music speaks for itself—it's my way of communicating, my way of telling the world, "I'm here too," and the way I will never stop expressing myself."
